A little UX research can elaborate assumptions and get them right.<\/strong><br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nBankmonitor.hu helps us, regular people to choose the best mortgage loans. It compares all offers from all major banks of Hungary and gives you a toplist. Our task was to make the process of choosing the right mortgage even easier.<\/p>\n<h2>The assumption was that the process of choosing the best\u00a0mortgage offer was:<\/h2>\n<p>1) look for the\u00a0ideal house<\/p>\n<p>2) realize that you don&#8217;t have enough money to buy it<\/p>\n<p>3) you go to Bankmonitor.hu to find out which bank gives you the missing amount on the best conditions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Therefore Bankmonitor.hu asked for the amount of money you\u00a0needed, and the duration of the loan &#8211; then calculated the best offers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uxstudioteam.com\/ux-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/home-e1440752303584.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1326\" src=\"https:\/\/uxstudioteam.com\/ux-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/home-e1440752303584.png\" alt=\"home\" width=\"1095\" height=\"430\" srcset=\"https:\/\/timemachine.uxstudioteam.com\/ux-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/home-e1440752303584.png 1095w, https:\/\/timemachine.uxstudioteam.com\/ux-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/home-e1440752303584-720x283.png 720w, https:\/\/timemachine.uxstudioteam.com\/ux-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/home-e1440752303584-1024x402.png 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1095px) 100vw, 1095px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>How people really choose mortgage?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>To get started, we did a couple of user interviews with people who have recently borrowed a loan. As it turned out the actual\u00a0process of buying a house lookes like this:<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Exploration phase<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>You don&#8217;t have a dream house, but you want as big&amp;nice as you can afford.<\/li>\n<li>How big&amp;nice you can afford?
